It is a cold and snowy Monday here on the Outer Banks this morning with icy roads, and approximately 4 inches of snow covering the dunes today! Burrr!
It is a great day to think about warm temperatures, days at the pool, and summertime at the beach!
That brings us to today’s great photo submission from Sue Dunlow of Chesapeake, Virginia who sends us this warm memory from this past July. Sue and her family stayed in “It’s a Shore Thing” in Corolla in mid July and she snapped this picture of her pool gang while they were enjoying the warmer weather and soothing waters of the private pool at this house.
Thanks Sue! We needed that! Soon enough the ice and snow will be a distant memory and it will be time to create more summer memories with Outer Banks Blue!
All the best from the beach!
Warm memories from the Outer Banks!
We Wish You A Merry Christmas 2010!!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go, even the Outer Banks. Outer Banks Blue wishes you and yours a very Merry Christmas in 2010. As 2011 approaches, we want to thank you for choosing Outer Banks Blue for your rental needs and we hope to serve you again in the near future. We wanted to share a glimpse of the beach in late December on and show you our marquee wishing everyone an Outer Banks “Blue Christmas”. Greetings from the beach!
News Event of the night on the Outer Banks
Realtor's Ball
The Outer Banks Association of Realtors (OBAR) hosted their annual Realtor's Ball at Captain Georges Seafood Buffet of Nags Head and had quite the turn out! Outer Banks Blue Realty Services, showed their support to Sales Manager Kim Endre, as she took on her reign of 2011 President of OBAR. Outer Banks Blue was one of the sponsors to put this event together and made history on the Outer Banks, for having 2 OBAR Presidents past and present to have reigned in this organization within the same Rental & Sales company. Tim Cafferty was the President for OBAR in 1994 and is the Owner & President of Outer Banks Blue & Sand Bridge Blue of Virginia Beach, VA. He was honored to announce the Representative for NCAR (North Carolina Association of Realtors), Myra Zollinger, to induct Kim Endre as 2011 President of OBAR. Kim gave a very touching and inspiring speech about ethics & being equals working together as a team. As a work family, we will continue to support Kim Endre at Outer Banks Blue!
The Currituck Club
The Outer Banks Blue Reservations Team takes a trip to view the homes we have located in The Currituck Club. This community offers many amenities, such as Security & Guard Gate, Courtesy Trolley Service, Currituck Golf Course, Fitness Center, Surf Shack, 5 Community Pools & Tennis.
Ice Water
Outer Banks Blue Reservations Staff take an outing weekly to view homes and familiarize themselves with things close to the communities. In route to The Currituck Club, the frozen sound was quite an attraction! January is normally the average coldest month of the year in NC, but December is competing with record breaking lows for 2010. Michelle Niles stops in Duck to get clips of the frozen “ice waters” of The Currituck Sound.
Good times with Good Friends on the Beach.
As Jim tells us “These pictures show just what a good time we were having at the beach!”
Oh Yeah!
Thanks for your submission Jim. Folks should be aware that our “Memory Monday Photo Submission Contest” goes on year round here at Outer Banks Blue. Simply send us your best shots, and we will post a new set of pictures each Monday. Then once per month we will draw a winner at random of that month’s postings for a $100 credit towards next year’s vacation with Outer Banks Blue.
Good luck to all, and all the best from the beach!
